This is the show a generation has been waiting for..

THIS IS NOT A CLONE SHOW
(Where one pretends to BE Johnnie Ray or make every move he makes)

It is one Music Legend paying homage to another Legend.

Johnnie Ray recorded well over 500 songs in his career, many of them being among the first truly international hits and his albums are still best sellers today.

Some of them he wrote including his first recording in 1951, 'Whisky and Gin' a bluesy jazz song similar in style to Billy Holiday whom Johnnie idolised. Others were 'Little White Cloud that Cried' and 'I'll never fall in love again'.

He was an accomplished piano player and in many shows he presented a song or two on the piano.

Lonnie has chosen songs that reflect many of the stages in Johnnie's career and the song list for the show is as follows.. (not in any particular order).

Cry
The Little white cloud that cried
Josephine
Whisky and Gin
I'll never fall in love
Just walking in the rain
Such a night
Look Homeward Angel
Hey There
Hernando's Hideaway
Miss me a little
After the laughter came tears
With these hands
I believe
As time goes by
Don't Blame me
Glad Rag Doll
Ain't Misbehavin'
Talk of the Town
Please Mr Sun
Somebody stole my gal
Walking my baby back home
Build your love
You don't owe me a thing
Up above my head
Ooh Aah
Flip Flop Fly
Springtime in the Rockies
